

Dr Kjersti Endresen – Chiropractor

Our body is a truly amazing “machine” with its ability to self regulate and heal. Every day I feel fortunate to be able to work helping people to better health.
Kjersti has a special interest in children’s and women’s health, but has a wide range of clinical experience in treating any age group. She has completed post graduate training in paediatric and are also certified in Applied kinesiology. Kjersti believe in a holistic approach to care considering the three aspects of health: Physical, Chemical and Emotional. We look at how all parts of your body interconnect and effect each other and your health.
Kjersti graduated from Macquarie University, Sydney in 2005. She then spent over 13 yrs working in WA. Kjersti has experience from a busy multidisciplinary city practice in Perth and owner/operator of a private practice in regional WA. Kjersti has recently moved back to NSW.
Kjersti enjoy an active lifestyle spending time outside on the beach or in nature with her family.

The human body was designed for movement, so to keep your spine at its best we should stay active. A healthier spine means a healthier life. Walking is a terrific form of exercise. It strengthens your spine and helps position your spine in the natural shape it was designed for.
School Back Pack
Daily carrying of a school back pack is a frequent cause of discomfort and pain in school age children. The most common postural and spinal problems we find in adolescents are: Forward head carriage, Slouching and increased kyphosis (increased curvature of the middle back) and uneven hips.
Stress and its impact on the physical body
Everyone will at some point in their life be experience stressful situations. Eg. A car accident, loss of a loved one, work stress, financial stress, exams etc. Stress causes a responses in the body. The Sympathetic nervous system is the fight and flight system in our body.
